Our client is seeking a Secretary (Transcriptionist) to work in the CM Brooklyn Division.

 

 

Job Order Request – Secretary (Transcriptionist):

Location: LIC, NY 11101

Number of temporary Employees requested: (1)

Requested Start Date: ASAP

Requested End Date: Undetermined

 

 

Specific Skills Required for Position:

 

HS Diploma/GED and 4 years of administrative/clerical/secretarial experience, two of which must be supervisory of performing complex confidential secretary/administrative tasks. Valid driver's license; must be computer literate, detail-oriented, a good listener, with the ability to take accurate notes.  Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Construction background desired and/or is helpful.

 

Explain the function(s) to be performed by the requested staff member:

 
  • The Transcriptionist will be assigned to CM Brooklyn.
  • He or she will attend job progress meetings held at field sites/offices for in-house projects.
  • Take and prepare minutes for each meeting.
  • Enter the minutes into CM13 and maintain a record of the information entered.
  • Contingent will be assigned at SCA Headquarters in Long Island City.
  • Will be required to attend meetings in the field 2-3 days a week or as needed.
  • Helpful if candidate resides in the borough of assignment.
