Position Summary
Penda Aiken Inc. is a staffing firm located in Downtown Brooklyn, New York. Our client is a State Agency seeking a Registered Nurse to act as a staff nurse in Malone, NY.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a staff nurse.

  • Perform additional job duties as assigned by NA or designee.

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of professional nursing principles and techniques.

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the operation and care of a variety of medical and nursing equipment.

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of emergency medical treatments as appropriate.

  • Maintain working knowledge of medications and drugs, common dosages, their physical and physiological effects, and possible adverse reactions.

  • Recognize changes in signs and symptoms that warrant the immediate action of a physician.

  • Prepare accurate and timely written records and reports.

  • Secure the cooperation of and work effectively with others.
