Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Step Down (Nights) Position Type: Short-Term, Temporary (3 months) Location: Syracuse, NY Hours: 12-hour night shifts; must work every other weekend and some holidays Salary: Based on Experience Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Local Candidates: Encouraged to apply within a 50-mile radius Job Summary: Seeking experienced night shift RNs for the Adult Cardiac/Trauma Surgical Step Down unit. Candidates must be able to perform patient care with minimal orientation and supervision in an acute care setting. Required Qualifications:
Current New York State RN license
Certified in BLS (must be able to be recertified)
Minimum 1.5 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
Must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
Legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospitals
EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
