Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - One Day Surgery Procedural Recovery (Days)
Position Type: Short-Term, Temporary (3 months)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00-7:30
Location: Syracuse, NY
Salary: $64

We are seeking compassionate, skilled RNs to join our One Day Surgery team, providing expert care to patients before and after their procedures.

You will be part of a dynamic, professional team in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting, ideal for nurses who thrive in collaborative environments and take pride in delivering safe, timely, and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care for same-day surgical and procedural patients
  • Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry independently
  • Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to deliver holistic, quality care
  • Contribute to a supportive, team-based culture where patients and professionals come first
Qualifications:
  • Current New York State RN license and BLS certification (with ability to recertify)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years)
  • Previous experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospital of equal or larger size
  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements:
  • No history of professional license suspension or liability claims
  • Must pass pre-employment health screening, drug test, and background check
