As a Pediatric ED RN, you’re more than a nurse — you're a protector, an advocate, and a crucial source of hope in the most critical moments.
What You’ll Do:
Provide expert care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced emergency setting
Assess, treat, and monitor pediatric patients, responding swiftly to changes in condition
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists
Administer medications and treatments in line with pediatric protocols
Offer emotional support to families, helping them navigate fear, uncertainty, and crisis
Document care thoroughly in EPIC (preferred) and ensure compliance with all hospital policies
What You Bring:
Active New York State RN license
At least 2 years of recent Pediatric ED experience (within the last 2 years)
Current BLS certification (and willingness to recertify)
Experience in acute care or trauma-level hospitals preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — especially with young patients and families
A clean professional history with no license suspensions or liability claims
Willingness to complete pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check
