Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Telemetry NIGHTS Position Type: Short-Term, Temporary (3 months) Location: Syracuse, NY Hours: 12 hour shifts Salary: $66 per hour Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. What You’ll Do:
Deliver comprehensive bedside care with minimal supervision
Perform thorough nursing assessments in a fast-paced, acute care setting
Start IVs, draw labs, and interpret telemetry data with precision
Monitor and respond to changes in adult med/surg patient conditions
Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal outcomes
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families
Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC Electronic Medical Records
What You’ll Need:
Current NYS RN license and registration
BLS certification (or ability to recertify)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience
Strong telemetry and medical-surgical clinical skills
Familiarity with EPIC EMR (preferred)
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
Clean professional record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
