Who: Penda Aiken Inc. (PAI), is a leading staffing firm located in both downtown Brooklyn and Albany, NY dedicated to enhancing the quality of our client's services. Our mission is to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of account management through innovative solutions and dedicated support. What: As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture and microsampling blood collection for both adult and pediatric patients. You will also conduct specialized tests such as bleeding times, sweat chloride tests, and glucose tolerance tests. In addition to specimen collection, you will manage patient data entry, maintain a clean and stocked work area, and communicate test results to healthcare providers. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and care. What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of phlebotomy experience (strongly preferred)
Basic understanding of medical laboratory technology
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to perform blood draws efficiently and accurately
Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
Must pass pre-employment health clearance
Eligibility to work in New York State
