Job Description

Job Title: Mail Clerk – Junk and Salvage Program

Summary
The Mail Clerk is responsible for handling all mail related to the Junk and Salvage Program. This role ensures accurate sorting, counting, and routing of mail to the appropriate locations while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.

Scope of Work
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
  • Dress Code: Business casual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and open all mail related to the Junk and Salvage Program.
  • Sort, count, and prepare mail for distribution.
  • Route mail to the proper location within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of all incoming correspondence.
  • Perform similar duties as assigned to support mailroom operations.

Requirements
  • Good communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Neat appearance and adherence to business casual dress code.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail when handling and sorting mail.
