We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with Emergency Department (ED) backgrounds to join our night shift team. Candidates must be proficient in IV placement and phlebotomy and capable of delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. Qualifications:
Current New York State LPN license
CPR certification (or ability to obtain/renew)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
Prior inpatient experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) highly desired
Responsibilities:
Perform patient care functions with minimal supervision in an acute care environment
Greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and assist during examinations
Take and record vital signs; set up trays for injections and procedures
Administer injections and assist with procedures including pap smears
Maintain clinical areas and exam rooms
Schedule appointments, manage reception duties, and prepare charts
Obtain insurance authorizations and referrals for services such as PT, MRI, CT, and surgery
