Experience Level: Minimum 1-Year Post-Licensure Position Overview We are looking for professional and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality nursing care under the direction of Registered Nurses and physicians. This role requires a clinician who is proficient in bedside care, medication administration, and specialized nursing procedures within a variety of healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive bedside nursing care, including procedures requiring strict sterile techniques.
Medication & Treatments: Administer medications and blood/blood products as directed by authorized healthcare providers.
Clinical Observation: Observe, measure, record, and report critical indications of patient health status to the interdisciplinary team.
Specialized Procedures: Perform routine specialized tasks such as catheterizations and suctioning.
Advanced Tasks: Perform specialized duties such as IV therapy (with additional training/certification as required).
Collaboration: Work seamlessly under the direction of an RN, physician, or other authorized healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensure: Must possess a current and valid New York State LPN License.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience post-licensure is strictly required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in sterile technique and the ability to handle specialized medical equipment.
Aptitude: Strong observational skills and the ability to accurately record and communicate patient data.
