Candidates: Must be local and within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join their Clinical Neurophysiology team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing routine EEGs in accordance with ASET guidelines and demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills. This role involves working with patients across all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Qualifications:
Registered EEG Technician (EEG T)
Minimum 1 year of EEG experience
BLS/CPR certification
Advanced computer, communication, and critical thinking skills
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities:
Perform routine EEGs on neonatal to geriatric patients
Apply electrodes and prepare patients for procedures
Conduct descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns
Enter and prepare raw data for physician review
Edit 24-hour EEG data
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; stock acquisition stations
Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies
Provide appropriate patient and family interaction
