Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant – Med/Surg Days Position Type: Short-Term, Temporary (3 months) Location: Syracuse, NY Hours: 6, 12-hour shifts in two weeks, every other weekend is required Work Authorization: Applicants must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship. Location: Must Reside with 50 miles of Syracuse, NY Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant with a strong background in patient care within hospital settings, preferably Level 1 trauma centers. Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a consistent focus on patient safety and comfort. Skilled in performing direct and indirect nursing care activities such as obtaining vital signs, assisting with toileting, bathing, feeding, and serving as a safety companion for patients at risk. Brings knowledge of normal growth and development and adapts care to meet changing patient needs. Committed to maintaining a safe, ethical, and high-quality care environment in fast-paced medical-surgical units. Key Qualifications:
Current New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum one year of patient care experience (two years preferred)
Experience providing ADLs and working as a safety companion
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Available for night shifts (6 shifts per two-week period, including weekends)
