Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: We are in downtown Brooklyn and this role is hybrid (3 days on-site per week).
Salary: $90K to $100K, plus benefits including 11 Paid Holidays, PTO, Employee contributed 401K, etc.

The Talent Acquisition Manager provides leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to the Talent Acquisition Specialist Team, by motivating the team to ensure the company’s objectives and key performance indicators (KPI) are met daily. The Manager works toward fostering our company’s success by recruiting qualified Talent Acquisition Specialists and candidates for open internal and external positions. They lead and develop the recruiting workflow process to ensure the delivery of top talent to our clients. Essential Functions
  • Manage a professionally diverse team of talent acquisition specialists, including coaching and performance management, determine training and development needs, and resolve issues.
  • Delegate work effectively and monitor the workload of direct reports to ensure resources are maximized to deliver efficient and effective staffing solutions.
  • Prepare strategic workforce plans to meet the client’s needs by ensuring timely fill of open positions, adequate pipeline of talent, and to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and recruiting performance by soliciting feedback, attending client meetings, reviewing survey data to find areas of opportunity, and proactively address any issues.
  • By using a variety of creative sourcing methodologies that promote client reliance on Penda Aiken, Inc., attract and assess talent; develop pipelines / relationships.
  • Gather, analyze, and leverage recruiting analytics data and competitive industry information to aid clients. Report to PAI departments / teams with forecast, summary, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Establish and evaluate processes and provide guidance and recommendations to recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Explore the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate practices. Ensure cost efficiencies and value in spending.
  • Initiate performance plans and disciplinary actions and is responsible for the hiring of new recruiters.
  • Place and update job postings in the ATS and other sources including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications/ Knowledge / Skills Required

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Talent Acquisition manager, head of talent acquisition or related field.

  • Excellent at both verbal and written communication.

  • Effectively organize, prioritize, and complete detailed work under heavy deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop staff, guide teams through high-volume recruiting environments, coach employees to meet demanding project timelines, and utilize metrics to drive and measure performance.

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills as well as the ability to engage and influence hiring managers and other business partners at all levels.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using integrated software systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ATS and CRM and other staffing and project management platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to function as a subject matter expert and trusted internal consultant to various stakeholders.
    Advance knowledge of employee relations and compliance issues.
