Collaborate closely with safety entities to ensure all engineering designs and implementations meet required safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Integrate safety considerations into all phases of project planning and execution.
Supplier Collaboration:
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials, components, and systems.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships to facilitate seamless integration of supplier deliverables into project workflows.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
Serve as a point of contact for engineering-related inquiries, fostering clear and consistent communication.
Address stakeholder concerns and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain project momentum.
Technical Oversight:
Review and validate engineering designs, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a related field, or;
Minimum of 4 years progressive experience in project management, transit systems, or a related technical field.
Experience with safety-critical systems and stakeholder management in complex projects is highly desirable.
Proficiency in systems engineering tools and software (e.g., DOORS, MATLAB, AutoCAD).
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards applicable to transit systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of balancing multiple priorities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
