Title: Registered Nurse Team Leader, Hospice (3)
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time Agency: New York City health system Location: Queens, Lower Manhattan, North Brooklyn Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Salary: $106K-125K plus $15,000 Sign-on Bonus or Student Loans Assistance, paid over the course of 3 years.

Responsibilities:
Supports the Hospice Nurse Manager position by providing leadership guidance to the professional staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure the provision of Hospice and Palliative Care services are consistent with the philosophy, goals, and policies of the our client.
Mentors and provides leadership direction to the professional staff as directed by the Hospice Nurse Manager.
The schedule includes functioning in a backup On Call capacity 2-3 times per month and 2-3 holidays per year.
Requirements:
NYS RN License required. BSN preferred
Hospice nursing experience required; Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Bilingual skills (Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin)
Valid drivers license required for some areasÂ
Effectively supervises, mentors and coaches home care nursesÂ
Works effectively within an interdisciplinary team environmentÂ
Multi-tasks and prioritize effectivelyÂ
Possess strong clinical skills and knowledge of Home Health Care regulationsÂ
Possess teaching, communication, and listening skillsÂ
Possess critical thinking skillsÂ
Possess organizational skills
Candidates are required to pass a pharmacology test as part of the recruitment process
