Job Title:Â Registered Nurse Location:Â Taberg, NY Employment Type:Â Full-Time Work Hours:Â Evenings, 10-hour shifts (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM) Pay Rate:Â $32.00 - $42.00Â per hour
Facility Overview:Â A residential Center for Girls is located in the central region of New York State. Depending upon the sentence, youth may remain in custody until the age of 21
Additional Information: Free parking is available on-site. The dress code is business casual or scrubs. Currently, there are no vaccine requirements. Supervision staff will be present when the employee is providing nursing care to youth.
Job Duties:
Provide nursing interventions and medication administration consistent with the established systematic problem-solving approach for the delivery of comprehensive nursing care.
Maintain general medical inventory, including controlled substances.
Conduct medication administration.
Review the overall health conditions of youth, including preparing, reviewing, and evaluating nursing intervention plans.
Ensure that interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans.
Participate in staff trainings.
Prepare required clinical and administrative reports.
Maintain infection control standards.
Serve as a member of the facility’s medical treatment team.

Qualifications:
Licensed and registered to practice nursing in New York State.
Background Investigation Requirements:
All prospective employees will be investigated through a Criminal Background Check (CBC), which includes State and federal Criminal History Record Checks. Prospective employees will be fingerprinted in order to obtain a record of their criminal history information.
All prospective employees will be screened against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR).
Prospective appointees will be checked against the Staff Exclusion List (SEL) maintained by the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs.
