What You’ll Do:
Perform routine care tasks including assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Accurately measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and fluid intake/output, following established policies.
Report patient observations and relevant communications promptly to the assigned nurse.
Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Support safe patient handling by aiding with lifting, repositioning, moving, and ambulating.
Assist in preparing patients for examinations and transporting them via wheelchair, stretcher, or by walking, as directed.
Maintain strict standards of patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
Provide continuous observation and attention to patients requiring close monitoring.
What We’re Looking For:
A valid New York State RN license in good standing.
Experience in mental health, psychiatric, or behavioral health settings is preferred.
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities to support team collaboration.
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
Ability to deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
