What You’ll Do:
Provide nursing interventions and document patient care, including medication administration.
Conduct case finding, health teaching, and counseling to support patient recovery.
Deliver supportive and restorative care tailored to individual treatment plans.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
Participate in staff training and professional development programs.
Prepare clinical and administrative reports to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Maintain infection control standards to promote a safe and hygienic environment.
Collaborate with a treatment team to develop and implement care plans.
Manage medication inventory – Maintain standards for medicine, controlled drugs, and narcotics.
What We’re Looking For:
A New York State RN license in good standing.
Experience in mental health, psychiatric, or behaviora health nursing is preferred.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills to guide nursing staff.
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills for patient care and teamwork.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate care.
