Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care and medication administration in a juvenile correctional setting. The role involves delivering nursing interventions consistent with regulatory standards and a systematic problem-solving approach.
Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory standards for medications, including controlled substances and narcotics.
Monitor and assess the overall health of youth by developing, reviewing, and evaluating nursing care plans to ensure alignment with individualized and comprehensive treatment strategies.
Participate in staff training initiatives, prepare both clinical and administrative reports, uphold infection control protocols, and collaborate as an integral member of the treatment team.

Requirements:
Licensed RN and registered to practice nursing in New York State.
Minimum of one year of post-licensure nursing experience.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
