Title:Â Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room DAYS/EVENINGS Position Type:Â Short-Term, Temporary (3 months) Location:Â Syracuse, NY Hours:Â 12 hour shifts Salary:Â $68Â per hour Work Authorization:Â Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care during surgical procedures.
Scrub and circulate for a variety of cases, including general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to intraoperative emergencies.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
Active NYS RN license.
Minimum 2 years of recent Adult OR experience (scrubbing required).
Proficiency in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics procedures.
Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills.
BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to thrive in an overnight shift environment.
