As a Med-Surg Telemetry RN, your impact is felt every time you walk into a room. You bring calm to uncertainty, clarity to confusion, and strength to patients and families navigating serious illness. From managing telemetry to starting IVs, you’re not just treating symptoms — you’re building trust and restoring dignity one moment at a time.
In this role, you’ll join a dedicated team that leans on each other in a fast-paced environment. You’ll care for adults with complex needs, using critical thinking, heart, and clinical excellence to make every shift meaningful.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver hands-on, high-quality patient care with minimal supervision
Complete comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor patient progress
Start IVs, draw labs, and analyze telemetry for rapid decision-making
Provide timely interventions and escalate concerns when necessary
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other nurses to drive positive outcomes
Document thoroughly and accurately using EPIC EMR
Support and educate patients and families with empathy and clear communication
What You Bring:
Current NY State RN license and registration
BLS certified (or willing to recertify)
1.5+ years of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting
Proficient in telemetry interpretation and standard medical-surgical skills
Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills, clinical judgment, and resilience
Clean professional record and successful health clearance
Must pass background and drug screenings
