Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Telemetry Days Position Type: Short-Term, Temporary (3 months) Location: Syracuse, NY Hours: 12 hour shifts Salary: $66 per hour Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Perform a majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision
Conduct thorough nursing assessments in an acute care setting
Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
Provide high-quality care based on the needs of adult med/surg patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
Current New York State RN license and registration
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and able to be recertified
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Subject to drug screening and criminal background check
