Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic, Nights Position Type: Long Term, Temporary (1+ years) Location: Syracuse, NY Shifts: TBD Salary: $70 per hour Work Authorization: Applicants must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
Greet patients, explain the examination process, and position patients appropriately
Set proper exposure factors to obtain quality radiographs
Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies
Report any equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor
Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing purposes
Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Provide radiologic examinations based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists
Requirements:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
NYS license/registration
Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
