Title: RN- Med/surg/tele-Days Position Type: Long Term, Temporary (1+ years) Location: Syracuse, NY Shifts: Day shift, scheduled to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays. 1, 12 hour shift a week. Salary: TBD Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Other: Excessive time off and set days of the week to work will not be approved.
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN license and registration
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and able to be recertified
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as the hospital
Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers preferred
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
No involvement as a defendant in a professional liability claim
Legal right to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Subject to drug screening and criminal background check
Duties:
Perform a majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision
Conduct thorough nursing assessments in an acute care setting
Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
Provide high-quality care based on the needs of adult med/surg patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
