Are you a skilled communicator passionate about digital content and public relations? We’re seeking a proactive Public Information Officer to lead digital communications and website content management for a key government department in a long-term temporary position.

  • Collaborate with office staff, media, external agencies, and the public to ensure consistent messaging.

  • Apply style guidelines to produce polished, accurate digital communications.

  • Adhere to agency policies and strategies to support effective digital outreach.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced professional with 4+ years in public relations or digital communications, or hold a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, or Digital Communications. (An associate degree plus 2 years’ experience also qualifies.)

  • A collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong writer and editor able to translate complex information into accessible content for diverse audiences.

  • Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail.

  • Skilled in design principles with an eye for formatting and layout.

  • Proficient with web content management systems, especially Drupal.
