Our client, NYC’s largest transportation government agency, is seeking a NYS licensed Physician to conduct Ready-for-Work assessments for internal employees. The physician will deliver efficient and professional patient care, with a strong focus on employee health services.
Responsibilities:
Perform Ready-for-Work assessments for agency employees, including work clearance evaluations and annual physicals.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with EMR usage and meeting agency-specific compliance requirements.
Provide flexibility by covering shifts at various locations as needed.
Offer recommendations for further care or follow-up as necessary.
Comfortably manage a consistent and high volume of patient care.
Requirements:
New York State Licensed Physician with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Preferred experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Hospital settings.
Experience conducting work clearance assessments and providing employee health services.
CDL Medical Exam Provider preferred but NOT mandatory
Comfortable working in a high-demand, high-volume environment. (You may typically see 15-20 patients per day.)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with experience utilizing EMR systems.
Willingness to cover multiple locations as required.
