We’re seeking a licensed New York State Physician who understands the human side of medicine just as much as the clinical side—someone who’s not only accurate and efficient but deeply invested in the wellbeing of working adults across one of New York City’s busiest sectors.
Your Role at a Glance:
Perform Ready-for-Work evaluations, annual physicals, and clearance assessments for employees
Assess patient fitness for duty with accuracy, compassion, and professionalism
Document findings thoroughly and consistently using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Recommend follow-up care or additional testing when appropriate
Maintain flexibility by rotating through various clinic locations as needed
Handle a steady flow of patients (average 15–20 per day) without sacrificing attention to individual care
What You Bring:
Active New York State Physician License
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or a hospital setting
Familiarity with occupational health, work clearance evaluations, or employee health services
CDL Medical Examiner certification is a plus, but not required
Strong organizational skills and experience with EMR systems
Comfort in a high-volume clinical environment with consistent patient interaction
Willingness to cover multiple clinic locations within Staten Island as needed
