Title: Physical Therapist, Home Care Position Type: Permanent, Full-time Agency: New York City health system Location: Bronx Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Salary: $83K-103K plus $15,000 Sign-on Bonus or Student Loans Assistance, paid over the course of 3 years
Our client seeks to be the premier provider of health services in the greater metropolitan area, ensuring access to health, supportive and community-based services across the continuum of need. Their range of health services include home care, hospice and palliative care for adults and children, rehabilitation and nursing care and the research-based institution for innovation in palliative care. They also offer health plans for Medicare and dual-eligible individuals. Their ability to serve at-risk members of the community is supported by the efforts of their non-for-profit foundation, which raises funds to help support their quality programs and services not reimbursed by insurance or government programs. In addition, the generosity of grateful families, private and corporate donors and grants, as well as their own employees, also support their specialized services.
Responsibilities:
Our client’s Home Care division provides advanced clinical services and emotional support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. With a comprehensive range of services supported by an integrated health system, patients can recover in the familiar surroundings of their home.

You will schedule independent home visits to screen and treat your patients and continually reevaluate and document their progress
You will have a rare degree of flexibility to spend the time you need with each patient
Requirements:Â
Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited institute of learning, required; Masters or DPT degree preferred
Registered and licensed as an OT in New York State
Minimum of one-year experience in providing therapy treatments in a health care setting
Home Care experience highly preferred
Valid Driver License and Car
Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
Bilingual skills (Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin) a plus!
