Title: Payroll & HR Benefits Coordinator
Position Type: Direct Hire
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Hours: TBD
Salary: $65,000-75,000
Work Authorization: Applicants must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship.

This role is responsible for bridging the HR and Payroll departments, handling Benefits administration, and payroll processing. You will act as a liaison between Human Resources, employees, clients, and subcontractors.
 

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the entire payroll process using the ADP Workforce Now module, ensuring timely and accurate payroll transactions
  • Gather and enter payroll documents into ADP i.e., timesheets, PTO requests, sick days, benefits, expenses, etc.
  • Review benefits, expenses, and other items to ensure all are accurate and up to date, including health and 401 (k) benefits, etc.
  • Assist with processing of workers' compensation, FMLA, short-term, and long-term disability claims.
  • Process employee payroll onboarding, payroll orientation, and payroll processing.
  • Act as liaison between Human Resources, the Finance department, and PAI clients and subcontractors.
  • Assist with benefits administration for all employees (ADP HR Module).
  • Respond to employee concerns related to payroll, benefits, compliance, onboarding, and ADP.
  • Maintain and update employee ADP HR module & Workforce Now, ATS, and CRM systems.
  • Assist with data migration, employee training, and implementation.
  • Responsible for payroll data analytics and benefits reporting.
  • Other work as assigned in HR & payroll processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field
  • 2+ years payroll and benefits experience
  • Familiar with PTO, Sick Time, FLMA, PLA, 401K, healthcare insurance
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS experience
  • ADP Workforce Now and HR benefits module, a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization and writing skills
  • Risk mitigation and the ability to problem solve
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Able to work both as a team player and individual
