We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Paralegals to join our client onsite in Albany, NY.
Responsibilities:
Draft decisions after fair hearings based on written guidance from the presiding Judge, evidence, audio recordings, and standardized, proprietary decision drafting software.
May be directed to listen to hearings as they happen and state their appearance on the record.
Requirements:
Must have New York State Paralegal certification.
Have a minimum of two years of experience drafting legal documents and providing complex clerical level legal support services to an attorney, preferably with an emphasis on litigation.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an understanding of legal language and principles, and strong organizational and analytical skills.
Have knowledge of basic legal terminology and legal forms, & legal research techniques
Ability to read, understand, and interpret laws, legal documents, and other written material
Competent using Microsoft Office Suite software
Complete assigned trainings
Develop competency with proprietary decision drafting software.
