Responsibilities
Provide care to individuals in the hospitals and nursing homes operated by the State of New York.
Attend to individual's personal hygienic needs in order to assure the person's comfort to performing a limited number of simple treatments and therapy.
Provide direct hands-on care by assisting individuals with bathing, dressing, perineal care, mobility, eating and other activities of daily living.
Requirements
Current State Nurse’s Aide Registration.
Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with the individuals, their families, peers and other staff members.
