Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Community Days (Syracuse, NY) Are you a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist seeking an exciting 13-week assignment with the possibility to extend? Join our team in Syracuse, NY, working day shifts to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a supportive environment.
hift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Salary: $70 per hour Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualifications:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent degree.
Current New York State license/registration.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine, or board eligible.
CPR certification.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
What You’ll Do:
Perform radiographic examinations under radiologist direction using advanced imaging equipment.
Greet and prepare patients, explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning.
Set exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographs while practicing radiation safety to minimize exposure.
Operate Siemens EVOSPECT, Phillips Forte, and related imaging systems efficiently.
Report equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisors.
Process films and document exams in Radiology Information Systems, including EPIC and Synapse PACS.
Follow department protocols and policies rigorously.
Provide precise radiologic examinations as requested by referring physicians and radiologists.
