Title: Nuclear Med Tech / Radiology-Nuclear Medicine Position Type: Long Term, Temporary (1+ years) Location: Syracuse, NY Shifts: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Possible evening and weekend on-call)- 8 hour Days; 5 Days a week Salary: TBD Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualifications:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
NYS license/registration
Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist with CT/MRI experience
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Duties:
Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
Greet patients, explain the examination process, and position patients appropriately
Set proper exposure factors to obtain quality radiographs
Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies
Report any equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor
Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Provide radiologic examinations based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists
