Job Summary: An addictions treatment facility in the Bronx, NY, is seeking dedicated and reliable Registered Nurses (RNs) for per-diem night shift positions. This role is crucial for providing immediate coverage when regular staff members call out, ensuring continuous and high-quality care for our patients. The ideal candidate must be able to take on cases at short notice and work independently during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during night shifts.
Ensure continuous treatment and support for clients with addiction and psychiatric needs.
Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State RN license.
Minimum of one year of experience in addiction treatment or a related field.
Strong ability to work independently and handle emergencies.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Flexibility to work on short notice and cover night shifts.
