What You'll Do:
Be present with patients — take vital signs, gather health histories, and notice the small things that can make a big difference.
Assist Registered Nurses and providers during wellness checks and medical procedures (including EKGs).
Ensure emergency medical equipment is working and supplies are stocked — you help keep the team prepared.
Keep accurate documentation of vital signs, assessments, and care activities.
Support interdisciplinary teams by sharing information, attending patient case conferences, and helping with care coordination.
Maintain professional standards, infection control protocols, and safety measures — because patients deserve nothing less.
Help orient new staff and work collaboratively with others to improve the quality of care.
What You Bring:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
BLS certification
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience working with individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use, or mental illness (preferred)
Comfort working in collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare environments
Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferred)
