Salary: Up to $38 per hour

As a Management Specialist in the Business Development Division, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance, supporting diversity initiatives, and empowering minority and women-owned businesses to thrive.

Your sharp analytical skills and attention to detail will help shape equitable contracting processes while expanding opportunities for underrepresented communities. If you’re passionate about blending data expertise with real-world impact, this role offers a rewarding challenge.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead vetting of bids, awards, and subcontractor approvals to uphold compliance and fairness
  • Maintain and analyze comprehensive data on construction contract compliance
  • Assist in preparing reports and research related to Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) programs
  • Monitor procurement documents to ensure MWBE inclusion in contracts
  • Collaborate on outreach initiatives to expand certified minority, women, and local business participation
  • Build and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track key performance and compliance metrics
  • Support business development staff with diverse tasks, from compliance reporting to program research

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of technical and analytical experience, preferably in compliance or business development
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for data management and reporting
  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with MWLBE programs and regulations is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
