We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General/Family Practitioner to join our healthcare team at a state-run facility. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, and the treatment of acute and chronic conditions. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Serve as a staff physician providing general medical care to patients.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluate patient health status.
Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions and injuries.
Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff.
Participate in health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness education activities.
Requirements
Possession of a valid license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Experience in public health, correctional health, or institutional healthcare settings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
