Title: Clerk (Field Support) - Queens 2 Position Type: Temporary (3 months) Location: Bayside, NY Hours: Full-time Salary: $22.82 per hour
Our client, a NYC organization whose mission is to design and construct public schools throughout New York City.
Responsibilities:
Lend administrative support to Division supervisor and staff as required.
Utilize Word, Excel and other computer languages to prepare and edit correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and charts.
Maintain Unit’s files and other documents are ensures that all are filed accurately and timely on a weekly basis. May include archiving/transferring completed files to SCA’s Central Records Division.
Coordinate the use of the Division's assigned motor vehicles—i.e., assign vehicles to staff. Accurately maintain daily logs and schedules, and coordinated maintenance for vehicles. Performs all special projects in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
May fill in for clerical/administrative personnel in temporary absence of Division/Department clerical personnel, and when necessary, provide support to other areas of the Department.
Sort and distribute mail, answer telephone/take messages, make copies, distribute documents, schedule and coordinate meetings.
Requirements:
HS Diploma/GED and 4 years of administrative/clerical/secretarial experience
Good communication and can work independently.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Personable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
