Our client, a New York City organization dedicated to school construction across all five boroughs, is urgently seeking to hire a Management Specialist for its Office of Capital, Grant & Finance Division.
Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible with assisting current staff with the review of capital scopes and software licenses to ensure products align with GASB 96.
Assist in developing methodologies, analytical and automated models to study and evaluate administrative and operational problems and implements procedures to overcome them.
Assist in the development and implementation of a division-wide management plan.
Assist in problem identification and solutions and assists in the implementation of procedures to correct them.
Conduct reviews or system audits designed to test the efficiency of new procedures.
Assist in resource allocation planning and analysis to support the objectives, and goals of the organization.
Prepares analytical reports on assigned projects.
Perform related duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Independent research skills
Analytical and Logical Reasoning
Knowledgeable with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in development and maintenance of management reporting, financial and data analysis.
