Our client, a New York City organization dedicated to school construction across all five boroughs, is urgently seeking to hire a Management Specialist for its Office of Capital, Grants, and Finance.
Responsibilities:
Develop methodologies, analytical models, and automated systems to address administrative and operational challenges.
Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to achieve project objectives.
Contribute to the creation and execution of a comprehensive management plan for the division.
Identify problems, propose solutions, and assist in implementing corrective procedures.
Conduct system reviews or audits to evaluate the efficiency of newly established processes.
Assist in planning and analyzing resource allocation to align with the agency's objectives and goals.
Prepare detailed analytical reports on assigned projects.
Review and understand contract and grants compliance.
Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
5+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of management reports, financial analysis, or management analysis.
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Excel, Cognos, and PowerBi.
Strong skills in handling large volumes of data entry.
Independent research skills.
Analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
Legal background preferred.
