Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional eager to join a collaborative team and work on impactful financial projects? We’re looking for a motivated Accountant Level 2 to support our capital assets and financial reporting functions in a long-term temporary role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze and reconcile capital assets data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Review transactions involving additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation of assets.

  • Assist in preparing debt analyses and college allocations.

  • Manage leased asset information including space, equipment, and SaaS software.

  • Perform monthly closes of the Asset Management system and reconcile to the General Ledger.

  • Update financial statement data and footnote disclosures related to capital assets and debt.

  • Prepare and distribute regular and ad hoc financial reports.

  • Collect and review reconciliation reports from property managers and follow up on discrepancies.

  • Support documentation and process improvements within the department.

  • Participate in asset retagging initiatives under leadership guidance.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, or eager to develop these skills.

  • Detail-focused with strong numerical analysis and research abilities.

  • Excellent communicator with strong writing and interpersonal skills.

  • Organized and efficient in managing files and communications.
