We are currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a 3-month temporary assignment. What You'll Do:
As a CNA in our pediatric unit, you’ll play an essential role in delivering hands-on care and emotional support to young patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and obtaining vital signs
Acting as a safety companion for patients who require constant observation
Supporting patient mobility and comfort throughout their stay
Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff to respond to changing patient needs
Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Participating in quality improvement efforts and team discussions
Ensuring clear, respectful communication with patients, families, and colleagues
Upholding professional and ethical standards in all aspects of care
Taking initiative in personal growth and professional development
What We’re Looking For:
Current NYS CNA Registration
BLS Certification (or ability to recertify)
CPR certification (or eligible for certification)
Minimum 1 year of patient care experience required
Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting is required
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must be reliable and willing to work every other weekend and some holidays
Ability to demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a strong sense of accountability
